Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) is proud to offer an innovative 3D vehicle configurator tool for models across the Triton range, integrating augmented reality (AR) technology to revolutionise the customer journey from website to dealer.
Launched last week on MMAL’s website, the immersive experience allows customers to customise the Mitsubishi Triton inside and out – from colour and exterior accessories to interior styling – through a fully interactive 3D model that showcases their creation from every angle. Real-time driveaway pricing is instantly updated with each customisation option.
Customers can also view the Triton in AR on their mobile devices. This provides an opportunity to see the vehicle in their driveway or at their worksite as if it was there.
Once the customer is happy with their Triton, a link to the finished product is then sent directly to their local Mitsubishi Motors dealer to continue the discussion before turning vision into reality. MMAL’s national dealer network has embraced the technology to virtually showcase the Triton range in showrooms.
The 3D configurator will expand to include the Outlander range over the remainder of the Japanese financial year.
General Manager Marketing and Corporate Affairs Sam Wight said the new 3D enhancements to MMAL’s website ‘Build & Price’ tool is set to enhance the customer experience – from quote to final delivery.
