On the track in Monza thinking about Miami There was great anticipation yesterday on the part of Ferrari fans and Formula 1 enthusiasts in general for the filming day organized by the Scuderia in Monza with the SF-26. In fact, on this occasion the Maranello team intended to test the updates that should have been brought to Miami at the beginning of May in the GP which will mark the resumption of the championship after the five weeks of stoppage due to the cancellations of the races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia due to the ongoing war in the Middle East. In particular, the greatest curiosity was for the now famous ‘Macarena’ rear wing, with its particular ‘reverse’ opening which, according to estimates, should guarantee a gain of around 8-10 km/h in a straight line. The test seems to have gone very well according to rumors, with the two starting drivers, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, completing 100 km each as expected. The innovative rear wing should therefore already be used in Florida, anticipating the original plan which envisaged its racing debut on the weekend of the Canadian GP. The Cavallino also tested further upgrades: a new floor and new aerodynamic parts. is able to show you some images of the test that took place yesterday in Monza and in particular of the ‘Macarena’ wing in action on Charles Leclerc’s car.
