Bentley Motors has announced the appointment of Axel Dewitz as Board Member for Finance and IT, reporting to Chairman and CEO, Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser, beginning 1 April 2025. He succeeds Jan-Henrik Lafrentz who will leave Bentley after 10 years accumulatively for a new position within the Volkswagen Group.
Axel joining extends a 22-year career with the Group, where he has held a number of senior positions, most notably with AUDI AG. His previous role was Executive Vice President, Head of Corporate Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions, AUDI AG. Prior to this, he assumed responsibility for the organisation’s Corporate Strategy, Taxes, Customs and Investment Concepts. Additionally, Axel was instrumental in the IPO of Porsche AG, taking a group project management role.

Jan-Henrik’s new position will be announced in the coming weeks, extending his own 30-year career with the Volkswagen Group.
