Zetland – Audi Australia is pleased to confirm the introduction and arrival timing of several new quattro models to the existing lineup, adding further powertrain options to the A3, Q7, and Q8 range. The A3 range sees the addition of the new A3 TFSI quattro 150 kW, in both Sportback and Sedan body styles, while the existing comprehensive range of Q7s benefits with new S line editions. In addition, the recently launched RS Q8 performance is joined by the RS Q8, now offering customers choice between two distinctive performance powerhouses at the top of the RS SUV range.
“These new inclusions across the A3, Q7 and RS Q8 model ranges are about providing the greatest choice possible for our customers,” says Esther Choi, Audi Australia Product Manager.
“The inclusion of a quattro variant to the A3 range perfectly bridges the gap between A3 and S3 models, while the enduring popularity of the Q7 will only be further enhanced with the inclusion of these S line models with exceptional value and refined styling.”
“The introduction of a second model to the RS Q8 ranks is recognition that even in this rarified air, our customers have very specific needs and requirements.”
Audi A3 TFSI quattro
Following the arrival of the brand’s most popular premium compact car, the A3, S3, and RS 3 earlier this year, Audi Australia is pleased to confirm that a new A3 TFSI quattro 150 kW variant will join the existing range. The introduction of the new, revamped A3 range in early 2025 brought a sportier look inside and out, new design elements, and added value for customers with the addition of S line to the A3, partly inspired by S model styling and features. The latest iteration of these models receive revised exterior design with a redesigned Singleframe grille, new corporate identity, and a refreshed interior.
Further enhancing the lineup, the new quattro variant will be introduced in both Sportback and Sedan body styles. It builds on the A3’s comprehensive specification upgrades, offering a well-rounded combination of performance, efficiency, and the confidence of quattro all-wheel drive. Customers who choose to step up into the quattro will benefit from the following additions on top of the 110 kW front-wheel drive model: all-wheel drive propelled by a 2.0l TFSI engine with 150 kW power and 320 Nm of torque (+40 kW and +70 Nm), and a 0-100km/h time of 6.3 seconds, 1.8 seconds faster than the existing model.
Additional differentiating equipment from the entry model includes 18-inch alloy wheels in a five-twin-spoke design in graphite grey, exterior auto-dimming, heated and folding mirrors, Audi Drive select, S line interior package inclusive of S embossed leather appointed upholstery, electric front passenger seat, colour ambient lighting and auto dimming interior rear-view mirror. As the variant arrives in Model Year 2026 guise, it also benefits from the addition of 360 degree surround view camera, updated park assist plus which now assumes control of accelerating, braking, and changing gear when activated in the MMI, as well as updated traffic sign recognition and intersection assistant functionality.
The new Audi A3 TFSI quattro 150 kW in both Sportback and Sedan is due to land in dealerships towards the end of 2025.
Audi Q7 S line editions
Known for their versatility, premium features, and exceptional performance, the Audi Q7 arrived earlier this year with a number of enhancements to its design, styling, and technology as part of a lifecycle update. Now, Audi Australia is adding two new S line editions to the range, building on the model’s existing success and adding further value for Audi owners. The Q7 TDI quattro 170 kW (previously referred to as the 45 TDI) and the Q7 TFSI quattro 185 kW (previously called 45 TFSI) benefit from the introduction of an S line edition of both engine variants.
In combination with this added value and strong price positioning, the Audi Q7 continues to set the benchmark in the luxury SUV segment, combining configurable adaptive air suspension, premium seven-seat versatility and exceptional child seat accommodation. Featuring five top-tether anchor points, the Q7 is ideal for both families and adventure-seekers, making it a standout choice for those prioritising comfort, safety, value and sophistication.
The standard equipment of the edition adds the sporty S line exterior for the first time, adding significant visual impact and value, with over $9,000 of customer value included. Priced at $124,130 for the Q7 TDI quattro 170 kW S line edition and $112,415 for the Q7 TFSI quattro 185 kW S line edition, these new additions to the Q7 range represent outstanding added value for customers and strong competitive positioning within the segment, both priced only $3,600 above their non-S line edition counterparts.
Standard features include metallic paint or pearl effect paint (including S line specific colours of Chilli Red or Daytona Grey), 21-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels in a five-twin-spoke module design in satin grey with black inserts, black exterior styling elements and an S line exterior. Black adorns the Singleframe grille, front and rear bumper trims, window strips, mirror caps, roof rails, and the Audi rings on the front and rear. The S line edition also includes interior enhancements, including S line door entry sills with aluminium inlays front and rear, and illuminated S logos in the front sills, as well as interior headlining in black cloth.
Both editions are due to arrive shortly to showrooms, and customers interested in either variant should contact their preferred Audi dealership for more information and availability.
Audi RS Q8
Audi Australia is also welcoming the arrival of the new Audi RS Q8 to sit alongside the range-topping and sonorous RS Q8 performance. Priced at $230,900, the new variant introduces another premium choice to customers between two Audi Sport-developed RS SUVs with two distinct performance outputs and equipment.
This highly emotional V8 engine with dynamic quattro powertrain boasts outstanding performance in the RS Q8, with an engine output of 441 kW and 800 Nm of torque, accelerating the RS Q8 from 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds – crossing the line just 0.2 seconds behind its performance sibling with 471 kW of power and 850 Nm of torque. The rousing V8 soundtrack is bolstered with a standard RS sport exhaust on both variants.
