The Manufacture Ampere ElectriCity in Douai has reached a historic milestone, producing 100,000 units of the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric in just 15 months. A result resulting from a production process that sees around 900 vehicles leaving the assembly line every day. Of these, approximately two-thirds are represented by the small EV. Record-breaking Renault 5 E-Tech Electric Renault 5 E-Tech Electric has achieved unprecedented positive response in the market, becoming the segment leader in Europe. Its popularity is evidenced by the diverse range, which offers five different trim levels and engine and battery capacity options. Ahead of spring, the French company has announced further improvements with the introduction of new features such as One Pedal mode, which facilitates driving in heavy traffic and roundabouts. A driver attention control system is also expected to increase safety.
