Kimi Antonelli Wins Spanish Grand Prix

Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli won the Spanish Grand Prix, the 14th round of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship, held at the 5.414-kilometer Madring circuit in Madrid.
The race, staged in the Spanish capital for the first time in Formula 1 history, was contested over 57 laps at the 5.4-kilometer Madring circuit.
Antonelli took the lead after Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc made a pit stop on Lap 49 and went on to take the chequered flag at the front.
The victory marked the Italian driver’s eighth career win in Formula 1.
Red Bull’s Max Verstappen finished second, while McLaren’s Lando Norris crossed the line in third to complete the podium.
Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton was forced to retire from the race on Lap 7 due to a brake problem, marking his first retirement of the season.
