Geely Auto Australia hits new high with 2,000+ monthly sales

Sydney, 7 May, 2026 – Geely Auto Australia has achieved a new milestone, surpassing 2,000 monthly sales for the first time with 2,006 new vehicle registrations in April. This marks the brand’s second consecutive monthly sales record, further cementing its position as one of the fastest-growing automotive brands in Australia.

For a second month running, Geely Auto Australia has achieved over 500% YoY growth in sales, reflecting strong market momentum and increasing consumer confidence in the brand.

Both models in the Geely range achieved a remarkable result for the month of April, each achieving a podium finish in their respective segments.

The Geely EX5 ranked as the 2nd bestselling BEV model with 1,202 deliveries, a 271% YoY increase compared to April 2025, Geely’s first full month of sales in Australia.

The Geely Starray EM-i also delivered strong performance, ranking as the 3rd bestselling PHEV model with 804 units delivered to new owners; a 34% MoM increase.

These results reflect Geely’s ongoing commitment to providing high-value product that caters to local tastes, and the brand’s overall approach to continuous, meaningful improvement.

The Geely Auto Australia range is set to expand further next quarter (Q3) with the introduction of the Geely EX2 hatchback EV.
