PEUGEOT UK ANNOUNCES NEW MOTORSPORT-INSPIRED EXPERT SPORT VAN

PEUGEOT UK has announced the new EXPERT SPORT van. Taking inspiration from the brand’s rich motorsport pedigree, and applying it to the everyday professional, the EXPERT SPORT is the new halo of PEUGEOT’s LCV range. With enhanced styling, an upgraded interior and additional equipment, the new EXPERT SPORT brings excitement to the everyday.

Styling and interior upgrades are at the centre of the new EXPERT SPORT with a unique body kit that reflects its sporty nature, including a front lip spoiler, providing the EXPERT SPORT with an athletic and aggressive stance, and side skirts with integrated protective front mud guards, further enhancing the EXPERT SPORT’s performance attitude. The new rear bumper is styled to integrate with the distinctive Kryptonite rear spoiler to create a harmonised, sporty design.

The marriage of performance, durability and eye-catching style is represented by the exclusive Y-Spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, which are fitted with high-load capacity Nankang tyres.

If the body kit and larger wheels didn’t already suggest its motorsport inspiration, the new EXPERT SPORT has a stand-out Kryptonite livery, including grille highlights, and unique badging on the interior and rear of the vehicle.

Inside, the EXPERT SPORT’s combination of aesthetics and functionality is evident with its hand-crafted eco-leather seats. With bold Kryptonite stitching, perforated material that allows for ventilation, and the SPORT logo embossed into the material, the EXPERT SPORT offers practicality and comfort with an assertive design. Impressively, the eco-leather material, thanks to its unique set of properties, meets the demands of a van environment; it is colourfast, scratchproof, tear-resistant, hard-wearing, breathable, moisture regulating, and acid and alkali resistant.

In addition to the styling and interior upgrades, the new EXPERT SPORT van gains additional equipment over and above ASPHALT trim. The new EXPERT SPORT comes with a Comfort Pack, including dual-zone electronic climate control, keyless entry and start, and wireless smartphone charging. Additionally, the Winter Pack provides a heated leather steering wheel, a heated driver’s seat, and first-row thorax-side airbags for enhanced protection.

The EXPERT SPORT van is inspired by the brand’s passion for motorsport, matching the colour palette of the electrified PEUGEOT 9X8 Hypercar currently competing in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), including the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In addition to its enhanced styling, interior and equipment, the EXPERT SPORT also benefits from the extensive features that are available on the ASPHALT trim, including Front & Rear Park Assist, flankguard detection of fixed obstacles, a Visiopark 180 reversing camera, blind spot detection and full LED headlights. Additionally, and in keeping with PEUGEOT’s commitment to technological innovation, the EXPERT SPORT van boasts many high-end tech features, such as the i-Connect® infotainment system. This includes a 10-inch touchscreen with TomTom® 3D connected navigation, wireless Mirror Screen technology and the ‘OK PEUGEOT’ intelligent voice assistant integrated with ChatGPT®.

The new EXPERT SPORT van is available in two body styles, Panel Van and Crew Van, and in two colours, Ice White and Titanium Grey. There is also the choice of a 2.0-litre BlueHDi turbodiesel, producing 180hp paired with an EAT8 eight-speed automatic transmission, or the all-electric E-EXPERT SPORT van. The all-electric E-EXPERT SPORT van comes with a 75kWh (Gross) battery paired with an electric motor producing 136hp (100kW) and 270Nm of torque for a range of up to 209 miles (WLTP Combined Cycle). The new E-Expert SPORT can be charged at speeds of up to 100kW from a DC rapid charger, enabling a 0%-80% charge in 45 minutes.
