Lambiase will lighten Stella’s workload in terms of racing and track work.” Journalist Andrew Benson then continued, denying the Ferrari hypothesis: “The rumors according to which the hiring of Lambiase would herald the farewell of Stella, destined for Ferrari, would be completely unfounded according to sources within McLaren.”
Roberto Chinchero of Motorsport is also on the same line: “The hypothesis of Stella moving to Ferrari appears even more suggestive, a combination that is based more on the passport than on concrete elements. It is difficult, if not impossible, to imagine Stella away from Woking today.”
