Sprint debuts in Montreal F1 completes its first trip to the Americas with the Canadian GP. On the Montreal circuit for the third time this season the format will be Sprint with the drivers battling for points already on Saturday. The third Sprint weekend of the six scheduled for 2026 means that Saturday will be all live on TV, including free-to-air on TV8. At 4.15pm the long F1 ‘marathon’ will begin with a repeat broadcast of the Sprint Qualifying, then at 6.00pm the Sprint will be live as will the Qualifying which starts at 10.00pm. On Sunday, however, the Race will be broadcast deferred starting at 11.30pm. Below is the summary of the Canadian GP’s free-to-air programming on TV8.
