The range launches with two variants, with the MGS6 EV Essence RWD starting from $49,990 driveaway and the MGS6 EV Essence AWD from $56,990 driveaway, ensuring both models remain attainable while delivering a premium electric SUV experience that reflects MG’s commitment to advanced mobility for Australian drivers.

The MGS6 EV has been created for drivers seeking an elegantly designed, comfortable and capable mid-size SUV that supports school runs, city commutes, weekend escapes and the evolving needs of growing Australian families. Built on MG Motor’s advanced electric vehicle platform, the MGS6 EV delivers smooth, responsive performance tailored to Australian roads. The MGS6 EV Essence AWD produces 266kW of combined power from its dual‑motor setup, while the MGS6 EV Essence RWD offers 180kW for a balanced and composed drive. Acceleration is confident across both variants, with the MGS6 EV Essence AWD reaching 0–100km/h in 5.1 seconds and the MGS6 EV Essence RWD in 7.3 seconds.

With a 530km WLTP range for the MGS6 EV Essence RWD and 485km WLTP range for the MGS6 EV Essence AWD, families have the freedom to roam with confidence, from weekday commutes to long weekend escapes. Recharging is equally convenient, with 10–80% rapid charging in 38 minutes at 144kW on a 150kW DC charger. Both variants also feature MG’s highly efficient heat pump, One Pedal Mode and adjustable regenerative braking, giving drivers greater control and efficiency.
