The McLaren team continues to prove itself as a sponsorship machine under the management of CEO Zak Brown, who pulled the team out of the shallows – including financial ones – in which the papaya team was navigating until 2017. As had been anticipated by Sky Sport UK, the official announcement of the Woking team’s new partnership with the IT giant Intel arrived today. The American company thus became the IT partner of the McLaren team, stipulating a multi-year agreement with the English team, the financial details of which were not disclosed. The partnership will be broad-spectrum and will not just concern F1. In fact, Intel will also collaborate with the Arrow McLaren team involved in IndyCar and will also be the official gaming partner of the McLaren F1 Sim Racing eSports team.
