Geely Auto Australia has celebrated the delivery of its 10,000th vehicle in Australia, coinciding with the grand opening of Geely Sutherland in Sydney’s south.
The milestone highlights the brand’s rapid growth in Australia. After passing 5,000 deliveries in its first 9 months of sales, Geely has doubled that total in less than five months, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s fastest-growing automotive brands. The momentum is also reflected across its sales positioning, with the Geely EX5 ranking as the second-best-selling BEV in April and the Starray EM-i as the third-best-selling PHEV*.

Elizabeth Cayless and her family of 5 purchased a Geely EX5 Inspire in Jungle Green following an extensive research journey – with the Geely EX5 ultimately chosen for its winning combination of premium design, intelligent technology, practical space, and extended EV range.
Ms Cayless said: “There are so many choices for families in Australia today, but Geely gave us everything we were looking for in one vehicle,” she said.
“The extended range gave us confidence for daily driving and longer trips, the interior quality exceeded expectations, and the technology felt far ahead of many vehicles we had looked at.”
Geely Auto Australia’s Managing Director Alex Gu said: “The milestone reflects growing customer confidence in the brand and Geely’s long-term commitment to the Australian market. Reaching 10,000 deliveries in just 14 months is a significant milestone for Geely in Australia; it is a testament to the hard work of the entire Geely Auto team, providing the local consumer with high-quality new energy vehicles that propel mobility in an accessible, value-driven way.”
“We congratulate Elizabeth, her family, and the Geely Sutherland team on becoming the newest members of the ever-growing Geely family”.
A Geely Sutherland spokesperson said: “To deliver Australia’s 10,000th Geely vehicle is an exciting achievement not only for the Geely Sutherland team, but for the broader evolution of the Australian automotive market.”
Geely Sutherland is the latest to join Geely Auto Australia’s network of 60+ outlets and like all Geely dealerships, is equipped to support customers from sales to through to all aspects of ownership.
The existing Geely Auto Australia model range is currently eligible to purchase with Geely’s EOFY offer, a 0.88% comparison rate over 36-month term with no minimum deposit, no establishment fee and no repayment fees.
New owners of the Geely EX5 and Geely’s newest variant addition, the Starray EM-i Inspire Extended Range, will also receive a complimentary 7kW single-phase EV home charger (excluding installation).
