
Apple and Formula 1 have struck a five-year partnership that will make Apple TV the exclusive home of Formula 1 in the United States starting in 2026. The agreement will give Apple TV subscribers full access to every practice, qualifying, Sprint, and Grand Prix session. The move builds on Apple’s growing relationship with the sport following the record-breaking success of F1 The Movie, which became the highest-grossing sports film of all time. Both companies say the new deal will expand Formula 1’s reach among U.S. fans and deliver a premium viewing experience through Apple’s streaming platform. All races, all sessions on Apple TV Apple Original Film Under the partnership, Apple TV will broadcast every event in the Formula 1 calendar for subscribers, while select races and all practice sessions will be free to watch in the Apple TV app. Apple will also integrate coverage across its ecosystem, including Apple News, Apple Maps, Apple Music, Apple Sports, and Apple Fitness+. F1 TV Premium, the sport’s own subscription service, will continue in the U.S. but only through Apple TV and at no cost for existing F1 TV subscribers. Apple says the combined offering will bring fans closer to the action with live updates, real-time leaderboards, and new interactive tools.
