Two Ferraris in the top 3 After the difficulties encountered on Friday at the Red Bull Ring, Ferrari managed to turn their weekend around and have a good qualifying. Leclerc will start on the front row, from the second spot on the grid, while Hamilton will open the second row with the third fastest time. The two Ferrari drivers were satisfied with the result and thanked the team for their efforts which allowed them to get back on top. Hamilton calls two-pronged attack Lewis Hamilton has suggested that Ferrari with a particularly good strategy could have the opportunity to annoy Mercedes. In the press conference he elaborated on this thought: “It will be very difficult to challenge them, but with the long straight leading to Turn 3, we hope to be able to do it together with Charles. Having him here is fantastic, because we will be able to work together on a strategy to try to put pressure on him.” The English champion, however, remained down to earth: “The Mercedes guys were six tenths faster than us for most of the weekend. We reduced the gap by three tenths during the night, but we are still three tenths away.”
