Ferrari heads to Madrid looking for an immediate response
Ferrari endured a disappointment at Monza that was even greater than the most pessimistic predictions, but the Red Tide was ultimately given a boost by Andrea Kimi Antonelli’s comeback victory at the Italian Grand Prix, which sent the Tifosi into a frenzy.
Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur expressed his disappointment at failing to deliver the result the Tifosi had hoped for, while already turning his attention to the upcoming race in Madrid, where the Maranello-based team will be looking to bounce back immediately.
Vasseur also emphasized how pleased he was for Antonelli.
“Of course, we are disappointed that we were unable to give our fans the result we wanted, especially after the incredible energy and support they showed us throughout the weekend,” said Frederic Vasseur. “I’m very happy for Kimi (Antonelli): this is a very important moment for him, and he deserves it.
“Now we are immediately shifting our focus to next weekend and the new Madrid circuit.”
