Williams, Dan Milner arrives Market coup for Williams, which has just announced an important purchase from Mercedes. Dan Milner is joining Grove as chief engineer of vehicle technology: he will drive performance both on and off the vehicle through complex, integrated technology programs and accelerate development in hardware and simulation. Milner has over 20 years of experience at Mercedes, the last 14 of which were in the F1 team. He contributed to the successful cycle of Toto Wolff’s team, rising from simulation and design roles to leadership positions, including six years leading power unit integration and drivetrain design. Outside of F1, he has held design roles in the America’s Cup with Ineos Britannia. Milner’s words “I am thrilled to be joining Williams as Chief Engineer for Vehicle Technology. After 20 years in Brackley, it is the right time to take on a new challenge,” commented Milner. “Williams has a clear and ambitious plan to move forward, and I look forward to using my experience and knowledge to help accelerate this journey.
