An F1-branded Monopoly Monopoly takes to the track in a special guise dedicated to F1. The edition, available from July but pre-orderable from today 20 May on Amazon, will allow players to choose their favorite team, and the pawns will be the cars, with which they will try to win as many races as possible. Your choice of team will be important because each has a unique ability that activates when you roll an F1 symbol on the die. Speaking of dice, the game includes one white and one red, which are used when preparing to challenge an opponent for a property or race. The player who rolls the highest number will win, winning the race. As in the real world, it will also be possible to upgrade the cars with upgrades, while every time a player passes the start they participate in the Monopoly Grand Prix, advancing with their driver’s helmet along the track in the center of the board. Here you can compete for the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships. The game, designed for people aged 8 and up, is suitable for family evenings but also for a board game with friends. The maximum player limit is six, the cost is 44.99 euros. “F1 is one of the most iconic sports in the world and we are excited to bring the adrenaline of race day into an evening gaming experience,” said Billy Lagor, President of Toys and Board Games at Hasbro. “We’ve reimagined the classic Monopoly experience through the lens of F1: the circuits, the rivalries, the relentless pursuit of the podium to create something that feels authentic to both worlds: a game that both F1 and Monopoly fans can sit down to play and immediately feel at home. The collaboration between our teams has produced something truly special, and I think fans on both sides will feel it the moment they open the box.”
