Autosports Group is set to expand its Victorian footprint after agreeing to acquire ten Barry Bourke Motors dealerships, a network that generated $212.4 million in revenue in FY25.
The ASX-listed dealer group will buy the business and assets for about $34m, including $29m in goodwill and approximately $5m in net tangible assets, plant and equipment.
About $14m of the purchase price will be paid in Autosports Group shares, issued at $4.50 each, with the remainder funded through existing debt facilities.
The deal brings Audi, Volvo Cars, Jaguar Land Rover, Geely, GMSV, LDV, Peugeot, Renault and Suzuki sites in Berwick under Autosports Group’s ownership, along with a Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Doncaster.
Autosports Group chief executive Nick Pagent says the acquisition strengthens key OEM relationships and secures strategic locations.
“This strategic acquisition deepens our collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover, Audi, Volvo Cars and Geely, while expanding our presence in Victoria,” Pagent says.
“The acquisition is expected to be immediately earnings accretive, with business margins anticipated to improve to Autosports Group’s average margins within the first 12 months.
“We acknowledge the goodwill and support of Barry Bourke and Darren Bourke throughout the transaction process and thank our OEM partners for their continued commitment and support.”
Completion is scheduled for December 2025, subject to conditions including manufacturer consents.
