Mitsubishi Motors Australia has expanded its ownership package to include 10 years of roadside assistance, creating what it claims is an Australian-market first for new-vehicle support.
The new 10/10/10 Diamond Advantage programme applies to all new Mitsubishi vehicles sold from December 1, adding decade-long roadside cover to the existing 10-year warranty and 10-year capped-price servicing offer.
The initiative replaces the outgoing 10/10 programme, which launched in 2020 and included four years of roadside assistance. Mitsubishi says customer research identified the scheme as a key differentiator that added value to the brand.
Under the 10/10/10 structure, buyers receive the first 12 months of roadside assistance at no cost, with coverage extended in 12-month increments for up to 10 years when capped-price services are completed at authorised Mitsubishi dealers. Roadside services continue to be delivered through Assist Australia.
Aftersales deputy director Tom Pitman says the upgrade reinforces the brand’s long-standing customer focus.
“The evolution of our Diamond Advantage programme from ‘10/10’ to ‘10/10/10’ reflects Mitsubishi’s unwavering dedication to delivering a best-in-class vehicle ownership experience,” Pitman says.
“Our customers have long identified Diamond Advantage as a unique selling point. The new 10/10/10 programme takes this to new heights.”
Pitman says the company’s reliability record over 45 years, along with one of Australia’s largest dealer networks, underpins the expanded package.
