At this year’s Hannover Messe, Siemens will showcase how new digital solutions are preparing the industry and Europe as a production base for the future. Particularly in an environment of skills shortages, scarce resources, volatile markets and increasing complexity, technologies such as artificial intelligence and a comprehensive digital twin can provide decisive competitive advantages by accelerating innovation, increasing productivity and improving companies’ resource efficiency.
Roland Busch, President and CEO of Siemens AG, said: “Industrial AI will determine who will lead the industry in the future. That’s why we’re building an industrial AI operating system that brings AI into the real world, from design and engineering to production and operation. This gives our customers a clear competitive advantage, making them faster, more efficient and more flexible.”

Im Juni 2016 wurde die neue Konzern-Zentrale der Siemens AG in München eröffnet. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt heute rund 348.000 Mitarbeiter und ist in über 200 Ländern weltweit aktiv. The new Siemens headquarters building opened its doors in Munich in June 2016. The company currently has around 348,000 employees and operates in more than 200 countries worldwide. To this day, Werner von Siemens’ passion for engineering excellence and his drive to create trailblazing innovations and solutions continue to shape the company he founded.

At Hannover Messe, Siemens will showcase its new industrial artificial intelligence products and projects, particularly in the field of robotics, while demonstrating how new technologies can make supply chains and logistics processes more flexible.
At the Siemens stand, it will also be emphasized what today’s technology can currently offer and how daily operation in factories may be shaped in a few years.
One of the focuses of this year is the consumer products sector. How Siemens digitalized the value chains of US food manufacturers Pringles and PepsiCo will be discussed in this context. Companies can produce added value from their data by using industrial artificial intelligence and can offer their products to the market faster and more reliably. For example, product specifications will be directly linked to recipes, logistics, warehousing and supply chains will be linked and thus fully transparent and traceable. The Siemens stand will also highlight the pop-up factory, a flexible, modular mini-factory that can be built directly at the customer’s location and uses simulation technology and artificial intelligence to respond very quickly to local market changes.
Visitors will also have an idea about the future of production. At the Innovation Center, visitors will see how industrial AI is shaping an increasingly autonomous industry. Flexible production of shoe soles using additive manufacturing stands out as an example of this. Users enter individual customization requests through an AI chat interface. Then, the AI behind the scenes coordinates the right design tools. Production is managed autonomously by AI agents, with humanoid robots transporting shoes through the production process and AI-controlled robots packaging the finished product.
The greatly increasing energy requirements of data centers will also be a focus at the Siemens stand. Today, one in every 100 power plants operates solely to support data centers. By 2030, this number could rise to one in every 10 power plants. These centers need efficient, high-performance power grids powered by direct current (DC). DC power grids provide higher power densities and form the basis for next-generation data centers. Renewable energy sources such as solar energy and battery storage can also be integrated into these networks. As a result, operators will benefit not only from greater efficiency, but also from a more sustainable and stable energy supply, regardless of market fluctuations. In this context, Siemens will present the first semiconductor-based protection and switching system adapted to the requirements of DC power networks. This technology maintains DC and performs the necessary switching with extraordinary speed and precision.
Siemens will be present at stand A48 in Hall 27 at Hannover Messe between 20-24 April 2026. The company will hold a press conference at the Siemens stand on April 20 at 17:45. The conference will also be broadcast live online. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is expected to visit the Siemens stand on the morning of April 20.
