Peugeot is a key protagonist at the 21st edition of the Rome Film Fest (Festa del Cinema di Roma), running until October 25th, serving as the Official Car of the event. During the festival, journalists attended a preview screening of “Je so’ pazzo” (I’m Crazy), a film dedicated to the life of Pino Daniele, which stands out among the events connecting the Roman festival to the stories of Italian culture and music icons.

Outside the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, the heart of the event, Peugeot set up a stand dedicated to the new “Lumière” special series, offered on the 208 and 2008 ranges. The display allows the public to get an up-close look at the two versions, which feature exclusive aesthetic details and additional equipment, highlighting the link between the French brand and the world of cinema.
The partnership with the Fest also provides a fleet of Peugeot vehicles available for transporting actors, directors, writers, guests, and other key figures involved in the event. For the opening on October 13th, the Peugeot 2008 was also featured in an exhibition at MAXXI (National Museum of 21st Century Arts), as part of the initiatives accompanying the brand’s presence at the festival.
The Lumière special series, inspired by the world of the seventh art (cinema), enriches the existing “Allure” trim level with distinctive design elements and supplemental features. The updates include new dedicated color options, dual-tone alloy wheels, and specific interior upholstery with blue-green stitching and exclusive details. Both models also feature keyless entry and start, as well as a high-definition rear-view camera.
In terms of pricing, the Peugeot 208 Lumière is available starting from €24,900, while the 2008 Lumière starts from €30,800. Both versions are offered with electric, hybrid, and internal combustion engine options.
“The Rome Film Fest is a highly prestigious event, capable of uniting culture, creativity, and passion,” stated Antonella Bruno, managing director of Stellantis Italy, emphasizing the value of the collaboration and the brand’s commitment to supporting a showcase of national and international significance. Participation in the Roman festival is another step in Peugeot’s journey within the film industry, following its presence as the official automotive sponsor at the Venice International Film Festival.
