Miami GP very difficult for Hamilton Lewis Hamilton due to the penalty given to Charles Leclerc concluded the Miami GP in sixth position at the end of a race in which the Ferrari driver has never been a protagonist. Hamilton damaged his SF-26 in a contact with Franco Colapinto during the first lap, plus team principal Frederic Vasseur revealed that throughout the race the seven-time world champion had to manage the temperature of the power unit which tended to overheat. “Hamilton had a lot of problems – Vasseur said on Sky’s microphone – it was a race of survival until the end, it was really tough. He lost aerodynamic load and had to protect the power unit because it tended to overheat due to the temperature”.
