Suzuki Australia is excited to announce the arrival of three all-new SUV models that signify a new era of innovation, sustainability, and style: the all-new Fronx Hybrid, the Vitara Hybrid, and Suzuki’s first fully electric vehicle – the e Vitara.
Each model represents the evolution of Suzuki’s legacy of reliability, combined with cutting-edge design and technology to meet the needs of Australian motorists.
All-New Fronx Hybrid
The All-New Fronx nameplate, derived from “Frontier Crossover,” introduces a new-genre SUV with a refined coupe style that’s strong and fluid in an easy-to-drive compact body.
Main features of the all-new Fronx Hybrid include:
Sleek Coupe SUV Design
Stand out driving performance
Latest Suzuki safety technology
Suzuki Australia General Manager – Automobile, Mr. Michael Pachota said the introduction of the Fronx Hybrid will be another stepping stone for Suzuki in Australia to solidify its presence in the Light SUV Segment.
“With the launch of the all-new Fronx Hybrid, we’re combining unique sporty styling with SUV heritage, to deliver an exciting new product to our line-up.  Not only solidifying our presence in the Light SUV segment, but this vehicle will also open the doors to younger buyers looking to upgrade from a smaller hatchback to an SUV”.

It’s expected to go on sale Australia wide 1st September 2025.
Vitara Hybrid
The introduction of the Vitara Hybrid aligns with Suzuki Australia’s long-term strategy to gradually expand its electrified vehicle offerings, responding to growing demand for more environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient vehicles. The Vitara hybrid is set to launch in quarter one 2026.
“Introducing a hybrid powertrain into our popular Vitara range is a major milestone,” Pachota said. “It shows our commitment to sustainable mobility and expands the options for customers seeking more environmentally friendly driving without sacrificing the performance or features they know and love.”
Based on the Vitara’s legacy of practicality and adventure-ready design, the hybrid variant introduces enhanced fuel efficiency, advanced safety features, and modern convenience, offering a seamless shift into sustainable driving without compromising everyday versatility or driving enjoyment.
e Vitara
Completing this exciting trio is Suzuki’s first fully electric model for Australia, the e Vitara, set to also launch in quarter one 2026.
The e Vitara captures the essence of the “Emotional Versatile Cruiser” with a sleek design that combines advanced technology and strength, a BEV powertrain that delivers a nimble and sharp driving experience, an electric 4WD system “ALLGRIP-e” that provides not only off-road capability but also powerful performance on any surface.
e Vitara will be a significant milestone for Suzuki as it will embrace the electrification era, making it the perfect blend of performance, sustainability, and style.
“The e Vitara is our bold step into the future of mobility,” said Pachota. “It delivers on everything Suzuki drivers expect including reliability, capability and value, and now zero-emissions performance. It’s a proud moment as we take our first leap into the electric space.”
Features, specifications, and an official release date for the Australian Market will be the subject of future announcements.
