A Hamilton rediscovered
During the Sprint and the Chinese Grand Prix, the fans of Ferrari they attended one long battle between Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamiltonwith the former prevailing on Saturday to come 2nd and the latter on Sunday, reaching 3rd place.
In short, from what we saw between Melbourne and Shanghai, Lewis Hamilton seems to have made a clear step forward compared to 2025, at least managing to fight with his teammate at close range.
Leclerc, nice words towards Hamilton
At the end of the Chinese Grand Prix, both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton commented on their duel with words absolutely based on fair play and praising the beauty and cleanliness of the duel on the track.
To the microphones of Canal+, Leclerc he then analyzed the recovery in this first glimpse of Hamilton’s 2026: “Lewis was also very fast last year, but they were different cars. Having both cars up front is fantastic. Especially with this new regulation, you can do something when you are fighting with those in front. Having both me and Lewis with the ability to constantly attack the Mercedes is positive.”
