How angry Isack Hadjar is a driver who puts his heart into it when he drives, and it shows. His emotionality in certain situations is evident and his tears after the mistake that put him out of the race in the 2025 Australian GP, on his F1 debut, during the reconnaissance lap, went around the world. On Sunday in Miami these emotions resurfaced for the young and talented Frenchman from Red Bull, but in the form of anger. In fact, during the sixth lap, while he was already in 15th position after starting from the pit lane, Hadjar hit the inside wall in the ‘S’ of turn 14-15 with his left front tire and broke the suspension arm, ending his GP against the wall. The French driver immediately unleashed his frustration, repeatedly banging his fists against the steering wheel due to the mistake he had just made. Hadjar’s fury lasted a few minutes and even with a relatively cool head, when he appeared in front of the journalists for the usual interviews, the disappointment for the early withdrawal had not yet faded. The Red Bull standard bearer, with honesty, took all the blame for an error which – according to him – deprived him of a possible top-10 finish. Wasted opportunity “In the end I found the limit – commented the #6 speaking to the journalists present in Miami, with a bitter joke – throughout the weekend I was very close and in control, but I made a mistake. The outburst in the car? It’s hard. The mere fact of having destroyed the car pisses me off a lot – commented Hadjar – and also I think there were easy points within reach, considering the car I had. So I threw everything away. I don’t remember the dynamics well of the accident, because it all happened in an instant. So I don’t have a very clear memory of what exactly happened. I just heard a very strong blow, I really didn’t expect it, and then the car broke down. I ended up against the other wall and I couldn’t stop it. In short, this shows how important it is to be concentrated.”
