He didn’t make it: a cruel evil took away Leopoldo Canetoli, a well-known name in the world of motoring, correspondent for Autosprint, Rombo, then Gente Motori. And, in between, the fascinating parenthesis at Lambo alongside Mauro Forghieri in the F.1 adventure, first as a communications officer, then with managerial duties. And he wrote a very beautiful book about Lambo. Meticulous, attentive, linked to both the human and technical sides, he was a friend of the greatest pilots between the 70s and 90s. A reserved, nice, good person. He was 81 years old, the funeral will be held on Monday at 3pm at the Certosa di Bologna.
