Chery announces price and spec for incoming Tiggo 9 Super Hybrid

Chery Australia is excited to announce its local line-up will expand with the introduction of the Tiggo 9 Super Hybrid in November 2025.

Sitting atop of the Tiggo SUV range, this flagship 7-seater is priced from $59,990 MSRP and offers luxuries that are usually reserved for vehicles with considerably higher price tags.

A first for the Tiggo family, the Tiggo 9 will introduce auto parking. Allowing drivers to enjoy effortless, perfect parallel and perpendicular parking every time.

Inside, the interior is generously equipped with a 10.25-inch driver instrument cluster and 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, front massaging seats, 14-speaker Sony sound system including 2 driver headrest speakers, 50W wireless charging pad, plus “Hello Chery” integrated voice command.

Style meets practicality

The eye-catching exterior is highlighted by Chery’s signature diamond grille, 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, retractable door handles and an LED light bar that’s stretches across the entire rear of the vehicle.

There are four colour options to complement the SUV’s elegant design, which includes Aurora Green, Star White, Technical Grey and Cosmic Black

The Tiggo 9’s stylish interior doesn’t come at the cost of space with its 7-seat layout providing ample room for the whole family.

Efficiency without compromise

Under the skin, the Tiggo 9 is powered by Chery’s advanced Super Hybrid technology, which combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with two front electric motors and a single rear unit.

Together they have a combined output of 315kW/580Nm and can travel up to 1,250 km on a single tank of fuel and charge.

All wheel drive is achieved through an electric motor powering the rear axle and power is sent to the front wheels via a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (3DHT).

The Lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 34kWh and allows this large SUV to travel up to 170km (NEDC) on EV power alone.

Advanced safety

Like all Chery products, safety is at the core of the Tiggo 9 featuring a large array of active and passive safety features.

The advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) incorporate the likes of Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Emergency Lane Keeping (ELK), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Forward Collision Warning (FCW), just to mention a few.

There are also 10 airbags that includes front, front side & centre, rear side, driver knee and side curtain airbags.

Warranty and special offers

The Tiggo 9 will be backed by Chery’s 7-year unlimited km warranty, 7-year capped price servicing and 8-year unlimited kilometre battery warranty. There’s also up to 7 years of roadside assistance.

From October 7^th – November 30^th, a special pre-order bonus* will be offered with Chery matching customer deposits anywhere between $500 – $2000.

Tiggo 9 arrives in dealerships during November.
