Antonelli posed with the Ferrari mechanics for a photo that immediately went around the web and social media and prompted Mercedes to comment on their official accounts with a large dose of irony: “It’s always nice to meet some fans.” Kimi’s words in the fan zone Antonelli also spoke in a meeting on stage, these are his statements: “Being here is really fantastic. I’m at Goodwood for the first time and today I did my first climb. They told me to go slowly, but obviously I didn’t listen. I tried to push a little.” Reflecting on his journey at Mercedes and F1 he explained: “Throughout my career I have learned many things, but one of the most important lessons was not to try to meet the expectations of others.
