In the last 40 years of Formula 1, never has a driver managed to do better than his teammate 40 times in a row in qualifying and it is difficult to even imagine how anyone in the future could surpass this result, even more so with the growing number of races on the calendar which makes it increasingly difficult to maintain a consistency of performance of this type for an entire championship. More difficult for everyone, but not if your name is Fernando Alonso.
