The Honda Foundation has appointed Robert Thorp as chairperson alongside new trustees Eva Barrett and Aaron Puvi, effective mid-2025.
Thorp, who serves as Director of the Automotive business at Honda Australia, will lead the Foundation’s board as it advances its community support mission across Australia. The Foundation operates as a charitable trust providing financial assistance and a 12-month loan vehicle program to organisations nationwide.
The Honda Foundation has supported Australian communities for 33 years, working with charities and worthy causes across the country.
“The Honda Foundation has always inspired me in the way that it contributes and empowers organisations that are focused on helping others,” Thorp said.
“I am looking forward to collaborating with the board of trustees to strengthen our impact on communities across Australia,” he said.
