A Sunday ‘in control’ for Russell George Russell achieved his second success of the season in Austria after the victory achieved on his debut in Melbourne, Australia. In the second stint Max Verstappen closed to almost a second behind, but Russell’s leadership was never really questioned. He put me under pressure in the central phase of the race and It forced me to stop with 28 laps to go, which was quite uncomfortable. However, I did the first 20 laps of that stage really solidly, which allowed me to take home the win in the last eight.”
