ADDS LONG-TERM VALUE TO FLEETES
Stating that in the Turkish bus market, which is highly sensitive to prices, Otokar buses stand out with their total cost of ownership. Commercial Vehicles Leader Kerem Erman He said, “Otokar buses stand out not only with their high second-hand value, but also with the advantages they offer in terms of total cost of ownership, including elements such as after-sales services, high operational continuity and user satisfaction. They also provide long-term economic benefits to their customers. These two important elements play a decisive role in why businesses that manage high-volume vehicle fleets prefer Otokar, while also carrying the Otokar brand to leadership for years.”
He added that Otokar continues its steady growth in Europe as well as in Türkiye. Kerem Erman He stated that Otokar is taking assertive steps towards its goals: “As we continue to grow in the markets in which we operate and increase our effectiveness in new markets, we continue to work in parallel with market demands on the electrification of the vehicles in our product range. In addition to our successful rise in the market, we also make a difference with our production capabilities. We are among the 5 largest bus manufacturers in Europe. We produce for two global brands as well as the products of our own brand in our factory. This is a reflection of our quality and production flexibility.”
Underline that Otokar’s wide bus range is shaped by customer expectations erman; “We continue to develop our products by constantly listening to the needs of operators, municipalities, drivers and passengers. Each of the vehicles we exhibited at the fair reflects this approach. We now offer a 9-speed automatic transmission as standard in the Sultan family, which is Türkiye’s most preferred small bus. Our e-Territo vehicle, which we launched in Europe last year, is now on sale in the Turkish market. It will be the first electric vehicle of its segment. We have developed our e-Kent bus again according to user expectations. With our new vehicle, Türkiye is in the public bus segment.” “We aim to expand the use of electric. We also continue our contribution to the environment with the low emission values we provide with our alternative fuel vehicles.”
