Goodwood, Damon Hill will drive the 1996 FW18

Williams at Goodwood Williams has announced the driver line-up that will take part in the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed: Damon Hill, James Vowles, Luke Browning and Jamie Chadwick will be protagonists of the famous hill climb at the wheel of the FW18. The Briton, Williams’ new ambassador, returns to drive the single-seater with which he crowned himself world champion 30 years ago. After driving Nigel Mansell’s FW14B in the last edition, team principal Vowles will return to Goodwood to get behind the wheel of the dominant car of the 1996 World Championship with 12 victories out of 16, which gave the Grove team their eighth and penultimate Constructors’ title. For the Browning reserve, it is the debut at Goodwood, while Chadwick returns after previous stints at the wheel of the FW08 and the FW14B.
