The Frenchman is hunting for his first points as a Red Bull driver
From one of the worst tracks to one of the best in terms of energy management: second Isack Hadjar the Chinese GP will be one of the best for the riders in terms of electrical energy management which transformed the weekend in Australia into a real puzzle in which everyone was forced to lose a lot of speed in the central section of Albert Park.
“A real shame because the fast chicane was one of the most beautiful points of the world championship, instead we were forced to lift our foot 100 meters from the ‘braking’ point – explained Hadjar – These cars are no fun to drivebut the Shanghai circuit should be one of the best in terms of energy management.”
Hadjar in Australia was the best in Qualifying behind the two Mercedes, but the Frenchman believes that Red Bull is currently the fourth force on the track: “Leaving aside the Mercedes, we are not as fast as Ferrari and McLaren, just look at Sunday’s race – explained Hadjar – however, we have a car that allows us to fight for important positions, I try to focus on the positive aspects and have another good weekend as I already did in Australia.”
