Williams, livery modified for Silverstone Silverstone is the home stage for many F1 teams, and among these is of course Williams. For the occasion, the Grove team unveiled a special livery inspired by the Union Jack, characterized by the red, white and blue colors that decorate the nose and sides of the single-seater. Drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz will also wear dedicated racing suits, while team staff will wear an exclusive kit. The photos These are the photos of Williams for Silverstone. Vowles’ words “We are proud to represent our flag in the British Grand Prix this week,” said team principal James Vowles. “From our first win to our hundredth, Silverstone has been the scene of some of Williams’ most iconic moments, and there is nothing on the F1 calendar that compares to the atmosphere of the home crowd.” At Silverstone, Williams achieved its first success in a GP, thanks to Clay Regazzoni in 1979. On its home track it won eight times: the last, in 1997 with Jacques Villeneuve. It was the 100th triumph for the Grove team.
