Antonelli boarding The Sprint in Canada was animated by the duel between George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli. The English driver maintained the lead at the start, but after a few laps the world championship leader went on the attack. Antonelli tried an attack on the outside in Turn-1, there was also a contact between the two which sent the Italian driver into a rage who was heavily reprimanded by Toto Wolff via radio.
