Mercedes, special livery at Suzuka
It will be an F1 weekend where many cars will have a revisited look. After Haas and Racing Bulls, also the Mercedes will race at Suzuka with a special livery.
The changes to the livery focus on the front wing of the W17, which will depict a wolf, as emerges from the photos published by the Brackley team’s social accounts.
The photos
These are the photos of the Mercedes livery in Japan.
The initiative is part of the marketing campaign to promote Y-3, a secondary brand of Adidas led by Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto, which also finds space in the new F1 clothing collection. It is a tribute not only to Japanese culture but also, by assonance with the English term wolfto team principal Toto Wolff.
