Operating since 2018 to make journeys easier for electric vehicle users, Zes has reached more than 5,000 charging sockets and over 600,000 users in its eighth year. To celebrate its eighth anniversary together with its users, Zes is launching a special campaign on August 20. As part of the campaign, users will earn 20 kWh of free charging credit, valid in September, for every 20 kWh of charging consumed on August 20.
One of Türkiye’s pioneering brands in the EV charging network sector, Zes has completed eight years on its electric mobility journey. Supporting the wider adoption of electric vehicles through investments in charging infrastructure since 2018, Zes currently serves more than 600,000 users across Türkiye with over 5,000 charging sockets.
According to June 2026 data from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), Zes operates one of Türkiye’s largest charging networks and is also the market leader in the number of AC charging sockets. Through its green charging service under the YEK-G system, which certifies the use of electricity generated from renewable energy sources, Zes also contributes to making electric transportation more sustainable.
More Than 246 Million kWh Charged in 8 Years
The amount of energy delivered through the Zes charging network since its establishment has reached 246 million kWh, approximately 138 million kWh of which was delivered through High-Power Charging (HPC) stations. During the same period, the total time users spent charging their vehicles exceeded 7.3 million hours.
Advances in electric vehicle technology and the growing need for high-power charging infrastructure are also reflected in Zes users’ charging preferences. The increasing use of HPC over the years demonstrates that demand for high-power charging has remained strong in 2026 as well.
As user needs evolve, Zes continues to expand its existing network while accelerating investments in high-power charging infrastructure, digital solutions and technologies designed to further enhance the user experience.
Growing Our Energy Together for Our Eighth Anniversary
To celebrate its eighth anniversary with its users, Zes is launching a one-day campaign on August 20, the anniversary of its founding. Under the campaign, users will receive a 20 kWh free charging voucher for every 20 kWh of total charging consumption made on August 20. The vouchers can be used between September 1 and 30.
“We Are Designing the Charging Network as an Integrated System”
Electrip Global CEO İnanç Salman commented on Zes’ eight-year journey and the future of electric mobility:
“When we set out eight years ago, our goal was not simply to build charging stations, but to establish accessible and reliable infrastructure that would support the widespread adoption of electric vehicles in Türkiye. Reaching more than 600,000 users and over 5,000 charging sockets today is extremely valuable, both as an indication of how far we have come and of the scale that electric mobility has reached in Türkiye.
“However, we do not view charging infrastructure merely as an investment area focused on increasing the number of charging stations. We are designing the charging network as an integrated system that incorporates energy management, technology and user experience. As the electric vehicle market grows, expectations from the charging sector are also changing. In the coming period, a strong charging network will no longer be defined solely by the number of charging stations. Providing the right capacity at the right location, expanding high-power charging infrastructure, managing energy more efficiently and delivering a seamless experience throughout the user’s journey will become the sector’s key areas of competition.
“We are shaping our investments around this perspective. We are developing our network by evaluating usage data, driving habits, location requirements and the future needs of energy infrastructure together. While increasing our investments in high-power charging, we remain focused on continuously improving the user experience through our strong digital infrastructure and data-driven management approach.
“We believe the future of electric mobility will also be shaped by interconnected networks that extend beyond national borders. Through the structure we have established in Europe with Electrip Global, we are developing an ecosystem that will enable our users to access a seamless charging experience in different countries.
“Our eighth anniversary is not merely a milestone marking the years we have left behind; it is also an important point at which we reassess the needs and opportunities of the period ahead. We are delighted to have grown together with our users who have shared this journey with us. In the coming period, we will continue to contribute to the wider adoption of electric transportation in Türkiye and to lead the development of electric mobility.”
