The partnership between GRDF and The Future is Neutral, which started in 2024, is being renewed for another three years. Since 2024, the leading French gas distributor has entrusted the management of the end-of-life of its vehicle fleet to Renault and its subsidiary dedicated to the circular economy of the Suez group. Approximately 650 vehicles are collected by The Future is Neutral each year, approximately 10% of the GRDF fleet.
“We chose Future Neutral for its expertise and ability to offer a complete, reliable and competitive solution. This partnership is part of our decarbonisation strategy. With the logic of setting an example, we are accelerating the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions associated with our activity and thus reducing the company’s carbon footprint,” said Bertrand Camilli, director of real estate and mobility at GRDF.
A partnership organized in three phases
The Future is Neutral leverages the expertise of its subsidiaries Gaia and Indra to support the leading French gas distributor, allowing GRDF to leverage its six vehicle collection and transport facilities spread across France. Renault and its Suez group subsidiary therefore offer an end-of-life vehicle management solution, including the collection, control, preparation, reuse and recovery of parts and materials.
The first step is the transfer and security of vehicle data with administrative traceability and team training. The second consists of operational flow management, which includes verification of information, rapid removal of tools, followed by their expertise and preparation.
