The comparison between the two seven-time world champions Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher are the two most successful drivers in the history of F1. The English and German drivers are joined at seven world titles, with Hamilton having long since broken the record of 91 F1 victories that belonged to Kaiser by raising the bar to 105. In his long career, English coach Jock Clear was able to work and closely observe both Schumacher and Hamilton and thus compared the two champions. “Hamilton probably has more natural talent than Schumacher – the words of Clear reached by Betpack – but he didn’t have a complete overview like Michael. Muhammad Ali said that it’s not the mountain in your path that stops you, but the pebble in your shoe. Michael understood very well where the pebbles were and made sure that everything around him was perfect because he knew that once you reached a certain level there were more important aspects than pure speed. I think he would have admitted that he wasn’t the fastest or the bravest, when you get to this level, they are all capable of making a very fast lap, but the ones who are really successful are the ones who see the big picture and bring those little extra details that make the difference on Saturday and Sunday. Michael had the best balance of all these things.” Click here to add Formula Passion as your favorite source on Google Discover: you will find our content more easily!
