The Spanish driver will start the weekend in FP2
Waiting for better times regarding performance on the track Fernando Alonso can focus on the unique emotions of becoming a dad.
The Aston Martin driver, in fact, will arrive at Suzuka just in time for FP2 – Jak Crawford will take to the track in FP1 – precisely because his partner Melissa Jimenez is giving birth to the baby (according to the Iberian gossip newspapers it would be a boy) whose birth was expected near the Japanese GP.
Fernando Alonso therefore becomes part of a club – that of fathers – which includes few members in the current starting grid. In addition to Alonso, in fact, they have one or more children Max Verstappen, Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez.
