No meeting after Shanghai
If the inaugural weekend in Australia had brought Nick Tombazis – FIA technical manager – to say that after the Chinese GP a meeting could have taken place to immediately modify some aspects of the technical and sporting regulations after the Shanghai weekend this prospect was postponed at least until Miami.
As reported by the newspaper The-Race.comin fact, F1 governance believes it to be better to wait and develop a more thoughtful action plan to possibly intervene on current legislation.
What took place in China, with races – both the Sprint and the GP – considered compelling by those who have to make these decisionsis far from the disaster that some feared before the start of the season and therefore there will be no immediate interventions.
