Adopting customer satisfaction as the primary goal in “Sales and After-Sales” services all over the world, Hyundai held the “Hyundai World Technicians Olympiad”, which it organizes every two years for its best technicians, in South Korea this year.
75 technicians from 50 countries around the world gathered at the Global Training Center in Cheonan. Technicians; They were evaluated through written and practical exams in three categories: internal combustion, electric and commercial vehicles. Virtual reality (VR) applications were also used, allowing the safe evaluation of challenging and high-risk maintenance tasks in a realistic environment.

Mehmet Ali Akçay, the experienced technician of Sakarya Hyundai Ferhat Automotive, who participated in the competition on behalf of Türkiye, showed outstanding success and proved once again that the vehicles of Hyundai customers are in reliable hands. In the competition held in South Korea, Akçay won third place in the Electric Vehicle category, bringing a significant success to his country. The United States took first place in the world class in the competition.
Mehmet Ali Akçay, who came first in the proficiency exams held in Türkiye under the management of Hyundai Academy, successfully represented Türkiye in the international Olympics in Korea, after the training program that lasted about a month and was carried out by the Hyundai Academy technical training team Emre İhtiyar, Süleyman Akçay and Talha Arslan.
