MG Motor UK has announced that it is further strengthening its presence in the UK by opening a state-of-the-art warehousing and parts distribution center in Daventry, Northamptonshire. The new 15,000 m² facility will initially employ 40 people but will have more capacity to meet future demand for MG parts and services.
MG has partnered with XPO Logistics, which is firmly established as one of the UK and Europe’s leading automotive industry logistics companies and a leader in developing innovative and sustainable end-to-end supply chain logistics solutions.

It will be supported by more than 150 UK retailers, the Daventry team and over 340,000 owners of cars including the award-winning MG HS Hybrid+ and MG4 EV, as well as the MG Cyberster, a dramatic two-seat convertible EV designed at MG’s London design centre.
MG Motor UK Commercial Director Guy Pigounakis comments:
“XPO Logistics is a proven partner with an excellent track record of supporting large automotive operations. We are impressed with their warehousing and delivery technology solutions and the benefits they will bring to MG customers.”
“For MG, this is another important step forward, as the brand’s continued growth in our own market means there is now more room to create exciting new opportunities with partners such as XPO Logistics in the UK.”
“Existing and future MG customers will enjoy an even higher standard of service and experience. Our new Northamptonshire facility marks a significant step forward – it will help us deliver faster to our dealer partners, make ordering simpler and give us the capacity to grow according to our customers’ needs. Much more than a facility, it represents our commitment to efficiency, quality and care in everything we do.” he said.
