“The conditions of the first two days in Aragón were not easy. On Friday the grip was poor due to the sand on the track, but as the sessions went by the situation improved allowing the riders to lower their lap times and find a good feeling with the tyres. On Saturday morning, however, the cold asphalt (15 °C) made the track particularly aggressive towards the tyres, also causing tearing, especially on the right side, which however did not compromise grip, which was praised by all the riders. The supersoft E0126 was chosen by everyone for Superpole, confirming itself as a valid alternative to the SCQ and also contributing to Bulega’s new all-time lap record, which was more than half a second faster than the previous one. In Race1, the E0125 was the unanimous choice at the rear, guaranteeing good lap times and limited wear over the race distance. The protracted duel between Bulega and Razgatlioğlu until the chequered flag, and the fastest lap of the race that the Ducati rider set on the eighteenth and final lap, confirm the consistency of the tyre’s performance. As for the front, with 37 °C of asphalt both the medium SC1 and the hard SC2 remained valid options until the last moment. The top three chose the SC2, going against the majority and achieving excellent results. Good performance also for the SC1, as demonstrated by Petrucci, the first of the riders who used it, who finished fourth at the finish line. It will be interesting to observe tomorrow’s choices, especially if the temperatures rise further.”
