Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) is delighted to announce the landmark multi-year partnership with Football Australia (FA) as the official automotive partner of Australia’s iconic national teams.

In a significant boost for the sport, the agreement encompasses the entire national team pathway, including the CommBank Socceroos, CommBank Matildas, the men’s and women’s youth squads (U17s, U20s and U23s) as well as the CommBank Pararoos and CommBank ParaMatildas.

Football Australia will work closely with Isuzu UTE and its Australia-wide dealer network on promotional opportunities, digital content and community engagement activations.

The partnership will hero Isuzu UTE Australia’s vehicles nationally and provide a platform and experience opportunities to showcase their vehicles in authentic and innovative ways, focusing on promotion of the Isuzu D-MAX and MU-X.

Isuzu UTE Australia’s support comes as the CommBank Matildas and CommBank Socceroos each approach major tournaments in 2026, with the CommBank Matildas competing in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ and the CommBank Socceroos preparing for the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

The three-year partnership is an extension of Isuzu UTE Australia’s continued investment in football, with the automotive brand a leading partner of the A-Leagues for over four years. As part of the partnership, Isuzu UTE will remain a partner of the A-League Men and Women.

Quote attributable to Football Australia Chief Executive Officer, Martin Kugeler:

“Football Australia is proud to partner with Isuzu UTE Australia, marking another significant milestone in our commitment to high-quality commercial partnerships.

“We are particularly delighted that this is a ‘whole-of-football’ deal, supporting the game at every level – from grassroots, youth national team squads, member associations through to the A-Leagues as well as the CommBank Matildas and CommBank Socceroos.

“The next few years will be key for the growth of football in Australia. Having aligned commercial partners who believe in our sport and recognise our game’s unique ability to unite and excite fans is essential.

“Isuzu UTE Australia’s strong vision for the future aligns perfectly with our own. We look forward to working together to achieve our shared goals over the next three years.

“I also thank our Executive Director of Football and Deputy CEO, Heather Garriock, under whose leadership as Interim CEO this partnership was successfully established.”

Quote attributable to Isuzu UTE Australia Managing Director, Mr Junta Matsui:

“Football is the world’s game and a sport that invokes enormous passion in fans everywhere. “Extending our partnership within football allows Isuzu UTE Australia to further cement our presence and commitment to the sport in Australia, a country truly passionate about sport.

“We are proud and committed to be supporting the ongoing growth of football nationwide and we can’t wait to get behind the teams in their quest for success in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™, Men’s FIFA World Cup 2026™ and Women’s FIFA World Cup 2027™ and share our passion with the teams’ fan base over the coming three years.”

In December 2025, Isuzu UTE Australia recorded a major Australian milestone with its 400,000th local vehicle delivery – another sign of the enduring popularity of the marque’s two-model lineup in Australia.

With this investment in Australia’s largest participation sport – in one of the most significant years in its history – IUA will be encouraging more Australians than ever before to Go Your Own Way.

Quote attributable to Australian Professional Leagues Chief Executive Officer, Steve Rosich:

“It’s great for football in Australia to have such a strong partner support at every level of the game. For more than four years, Isuzu UTE Australia has been a fantastic partner for the A-League Men and Women, providing invaluable support on and off the field. We look forward to continuing our partnership, and working with Isuzu UTE Australia and Football Australia, to continue to grow football together.”
