The softer solutions of the allocation were the main protagonists at Misano
“At the end of these first two days at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli we already have a very clear picture of the tyres that will be chosen for tomorrow’s races. In this round, Moto2 has two different rear solutions: the soft E0125, the most used in the GPs held since June, and the supersoft E0126, making its second appearance in allocation after its successful debut in Austria. With a track that is not very aggressive and with sufficiently high temperatures such as those recorded in recent days, the supersoft E0126 is clearly favoured because, with the same structure, it has a softer compound than the E0125 and is therefore able to offer an even higher level of grip. To have a good balance with the grip offered at the rear, the riders will mount the soft SC1 at the front. Similarly, in Moto3 too, the focus will be on the softest solutions among those allocated, therefore soft SC1 for both axles, although for the front someone could choose the medium SC2 already used today in qualifying by poleman Perrone. As expected, with the rear supersoft the Moto2 riders went even faster than last year, with the all-time lap record improved by more than seven tenths. The only variable that could change this scenario is the weather: for tomorrow morning, in fact, the forecast does not exclude a few drops of rain”.
