Citroën is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Citroën Berlingo, which hit the roads in 1996 and created its own segment over time.
Launched in 1996, Berlingo quickly attracted attention with its versatility, large interior volume and practical usage features for both commercial users and individual drivers. Citroën announced that more than 4.2 million units of Berlingo were produced during this period and it was offered for sale in approximately 90 countries. The model has maintained its popularity for many years by addressing different user needs with both light commercial vehicle and combi versions.
Drawing attention with its 3 cubic meter load volume and approximately 800 kilogram carrying capacity in its first generation, Berlingo created a transformation in its segment with the automobile comfort it offered compared to its period.
