The transmission shaft has failed. Atrocious insult for Max Verstappen, Dani Juncadella, Lucas Auer and Jules Gounon. The crew behind the wheel of the #3 Mercedes were leading the Nurburgring 24 Hours when a technical problem put an end to the thrilling gallop of Verstappen and his crewmates. While Dani Juncadella was at the wheel, the transmission shaft failed. The team will try to repair the car to give the fans a final catwalk. Mercedes now still has the #80 in control of the race unless other twists and turns are always around the corner, Dani Juncadella had in fact just avoided an accident, but there is nothing to be done against a technical failure.
